I'm not using DVD swap anymore - I basically only used it to get rid of some DVDs to get credits to swap to PBS. My problem is that I have some postage $$ stuck in limbo there. I used the feedback link to see if I could transfer it here and was told they can't do that. Then I got the brilliant idea that I could use it to send swap books with the "mail a dvd to a friend" option, but it seems like that option doesn't exist over there. So, any other creative ideas on how I can get/use my postage money? It's only a few dollars so if I have to call it a loss, oh well, but I wonder if there's anything else I can do. |

Never mind, I just looked and apparently SwapaCD and SwapaDVD do not have custom DC available. I think that's something they should be encouraged to add, since the sister sites are starting to do swap games as well... |

Depending on how much it is, maybe you could buy a credit & then transfer the credit to PBS. |

Yea, it's not enough to buy a credit and I think you have to swap 2 DVD credits at a time anyway. Oh well! |

This is convoluted but might work... You could try a special in the book bazaar... saying that they get ___ books for a credit if they order a DVD from you. That way you get their address and can use DVD$$ for postage.. even though you will REALLY be sending books. |

Why don't you check through some wishlists or do a title search and find a couple of DVDs that either you have or you can get cheap (former rental or on sale or whatever) that you know you can unload very quickly... if you plan on doing 2, that will get rid of your postage plus give you 2 credits to transfer back over here. Or you could do that with just one and buy the 2nd credit outright... Just a thought. :) |

I don't swap on the DVD site (yet), but can you buy a GC or some credits with it, and swap them over to PBS? Or can postage money not be used for credits? --Catt |
