For almost 160 years, people, not just historians, have argued who was the 'aggressor' at Fort Sumter and responsible for starting the Civil War. This 208-page book seeks to answer that question.

It also takes the reader from the initial 'secession' process to the beginning of the fighting. It uses historical documents to show who did what and why, and, more importantly, those who wanted things to occur as they wanted, despite what Lincoln of Davis wanted.
