Is she any good?  I just bought a book of hers today (Deadly Deceptions) to give her a try.

I've only read her Westerns but I really liked them. I have a couple of the comtemporary McKettrick books in the TBR pile.   The historical McKettrick books were some of the first romances I ever read.

I've read quite a few of hers and for me, she's hit or miss.

I agree with Sherri.  I would say that most of her books I really like but I get one every once in awhile and I am not thrilled.  I do like her newer stuff.

anyone know how her 'don't look back' trilogy is? I have those but not sure if I should move them up the tbr pile or not.

Deadly Deceptions i believe is part of a series. I just got something in the mail yesterday promoting that book and it's sequel coming out in Sept. 08.

I just finished Deadly Deceptions, it was pretty good. I read the first book in the series, so I wanted to see what happened next. I haven't read anything else of hers though.

Kristy, will it make more sense to read the first book before this one?  I bought it also to use in a swap, so I really don't wanna have to buy another one unless it's really necessary.

The only ones I have read are her short books in the Springwater series...Jessica, Briget etc. I liked them quite a bit. I have an enormous amount of her books in my TBR and hope to get to them sooner then later.

I found Pirates to be an okay book but after reading it, it didn't make me rush out to look for her other books.  My favorite books from this author was a series having to do with vampires.  I no longer read historical romance books so skipped most of those but do like her contemporary books.  They are in the romance suspense category instead of straight romance.  Overall I find Linda Lael Miller to be hit or miss also.  Some books I like while others were a waste of money.
