I go out a lot to used book stores and see many nice looking books, if I knew they were wanted on PBS I could get them on occasion..is there a link to list desired books or authors?  sincerely, Sandra  "Rolfeswife"

There's also an app for your phone called PBS Wishing that lets you scan barcodes and it tells you how many people are wishing for that book. A book with even 200 wishes won't show up on the list of most wished for books, but even those with many fewer wishes are still likely to be snapped up.

I use the app to acquire WL books to post in the FIFO system. Learned not to purchase unless 5 wishers or more, because some membes left PBS and their WL are still active. Now got some books sitting on my shelf that I wouldn't have had and spent money for nothing.

what's the name of the app?  The App Store on iPhone does not have it as "pbs wishing".

I would also like to know where to get the app.  I can barely see, and yet I sit on the floor of the bookstore, balancing 2 pair of glasses on my nose, manually typing ISBN numbers into my phone to see if they are WL'd.  That app would save so much time, and it'd be easier on my eyes too.

Appreciate the link.

Go to Mobile / PDAs  (bottom of any page, under Search for a Book), at the top (right under PaperbackSwap Search) click on the one you need (iPhone App   or  Android App).

It looks like the iPhone app has been withdrawn by the developer and can no longer be downloaded. This was a 3rd party app, not built by PBS.
