Have any of you used the literature program from the Jr. Great Books Foundation?

I recently read about this program in Rebecca Rupp's Home Learning Year by Year.  I'm intrigued, but it's also pretty expensive.  Runs about $100 per semester for the grade level I need.  I did see a few titles listed here, not the one I need now.  May order one, just to see how I like it, but I would welcome your comments on this program.

Yes, I used it in first grade as K12 has it as part of their literature program.  My son and I just found his books yesterday and had a great time going back over them.  They are fantastic for classic literature and gently teaching literary analysis.

If they are too expensive, you may want to look at the Core Knowledge Foundation and use their materials.
