Interesting trivia collection, lots of small lists that are very funny, gross, or weird. However you will probably start to become skeptical at some of the bits of information - even though it lists names, dates, and places, you might find some of these stories too outrageous to be true. There were a few in particular that I thought "That must be an interesting story! I have to look that up!" and I'd look up the name, date, place, and details and find nothing to show it was true. Now, NOT finding something AT ALL is not the same as finding out something is false. However, in 2010 with as far-reaching as the internet is, and as readily available outrageous stories are, I was suspicious when I couldn't find one mention of some of the stories I checked on. Then, when I found SOME stories, the source was a newspaper/gossip rag called "Weekly World News", which is available in its entirety on Google Books. And WWN, should you decide to check it out for yourself, is hard to take seriously. So I don't know. If I could believe the stories were true, it would have been so much more fun to read the book. Anyone can make up a crazy story. Look, I'll do it now. "In 1994 a wedding was interrupted in Noht Troi, Iceland, when a strange smell overpowered the room. It was discovered that a guest, overeating before the buffet was actually open, lost control of his bowels during the ceremony. At the bride's insistence, the ceremony continued, minus half the guests who made a hasty exit." There. Stuff like that. You won't find it, but you can't prove it doesn't exist. Anyway, amusing book, but having doubts that it has true stories, or maybe just a mix of rumor and internet gossip, clouds my opinion of it.
