On my shelf, I have a newish copy of The Little Princesses: The Story of the Queen's Childhood by her Nanny, Marion Crawford. It's wishlisted by several people under 2 ISBNs not 0-312-31215-6. BTW, this book is the source of the British royal famiy's slang, "doing a Crawfie," for a servant/courtier who writes a book about the private Lives. Very interesting to compare to Kitty Kelley's tell all. This bookis adulatory and sweet. Originally published in 1950. 2003 reprint. |
