Back of the book is pretty misleading. In this romance novel, the hero is a widow and is not a married man, the way its worded makes you think he still had a wife, this is false. This is your typical love story with a grieving widow falling in love with a gypsy girl. I think it was a slow read... but some may like it.

Until in a smoky New Orleans tavern they sealed a pact of vengence against the same arrogant foe. Together, they sailed the blue Caribbean, united in hatred, divided by the memory of Paxton's lost bride -- borne recklessly along on the beating waves of their own boundless passion for each other...
