A slim, short book of tightly packed essays filled with theories, ideas, and musings. My own opinion is that the essays - while interesting - are noticeably dated. But I loved the "time capsule" feel of reading a book by someone who has seen many of his theories become concrete reality, many of his easily-spoken predictions come true. Really interesting.

Very interesting book of essays on the biology of cells -- easy for the non-scientist to follow, fascinating.

Very famous "notes of a biology watcher." One of the most elegant essayists in the field.
