I came across a mention of this book by another member and I became very interested in it so I ordered them from the local library.  I am so glad that someone here and mentioned them because they are fantastic!  I was hooked right away and I have to say that the author, Alexander Gordon Smith did an amazing job writing these books.  The thought process and attention to detail was perfect and gripping.  I recommended the books to my bff's son because he is a good reader but doesn't like to because he would rather play video games.  He thought that it sounded crazy enough to be something that he liked, with the super strong guards and crazy skinless dogs with razor wire teeth, guys in gas masks and having a life sentence as a teenager in a prison in the ground, he though he'd give it a try.  Well, he is hooked on them as well. I recommend these books.  My only question is that on the website for these books, it says there is a 5th one out now but I can't find it on here or locally, maybe it's not out in the U.S. yet.  Anyways, great series!!!
