Hi. Now that my daughters are grown, they are kibitzing as to who gets the Nancy Drew books, so I guess I'm going to collect a second set. :)  Are your books the shiny hardcover ones with a yellow band across the top? If so, would you be interested in offering a deal  or a bob trade?

I have two - #27 & 28 - they are older and not shiny.  The both have yellow spines and one has a yellow band across the top, the other one doesn't.  Do you want me to send you pictures?

I am collecting them also. I have been saving the extras I have so I can barter for ones I don't hvae. They are hard to come by. I have one book that is a combination of 1 and 2. I have 2,3,4, and 6. I won't do all of them but I could consider some kind of deal. I need them to get the ones I don't have. Do you have any extra ones you have duplicates of? Sandra

I have the following Nancy Drew books in HC: 1-7, 14, 15

Only 4 & 7 have the yellow stripe across the top, but I wouldn't call the covers shiney, I believe all mine have a matte finish to them.

Thank for looking everyone. My daughters only want the one version because it's not just for the stories but their childhood memories. These are not a matte finish. I'm just starting my hunt so I don't have any extras at this time but if I end up at ebay and have extras, I'll let you know.
