An astronomers speculation about alien life. Witty and clever - a good read.

Great book, I learned a lot about the origin of life (which is pretty important to figure out when speculating about alien life), but after 150 pages, I realized I already read it.

A holistic review of the history, philosophy and science of life that may be lurking elsewhere in the universe. Fun to read and with lots of information from a true expert on the subject. Grinspoon's underlying message should be both humbling and inspiring to his fellow earthlings.
