When Geralyn Dawson had her character Caroline Kilpatrick label the hero, Logan Grey, as good for nothing, I knew this would be a fun book. However the first part of the book was v-e-r-y slow.

"Lucky" Logan Grey is endowed with a strong sense of trouble coming and is quick-witted enough to prepare to meet it. By others, he is considered the "luckiest man in Texas" but he knows that he has survived more than his share of tragedies.

During a bank robbery, Caroline slips a weapon to Lucky and helps him stop the raid. Logan is impressed with the lovely woman but she disappears before he can thank her. It is obvious to Caroline that Logan Grey does not remember her and he should! They were married 15 years before and she has a 14 year old son to prove it.

When Caroline reenters Logans life, she needs his help to save her foster father. But first, she must tell this odious man that they are married and share a son. Logan is absolutely thunderstruck by the news and tells her that her father hired him to undergo a fake marriage.

The plot is complicated and Ill stop here before giving too much away. Once the story gets going, Caroline and Logan face murderous tornados and murdering thieves aplenty.

This is an enjoyable book with almost too much plot for one book. I liked all three of the main characters they were real.
