Long Day's Journey into Night
Long Day's Journey into Night
Author: Eugene O'Neill
In 1940 O'Neill wrote this play - one of his last - to confront a painful and tragic part of his own biography. He had long been haunted, as he says in his dedication, by this 'tale of old sorrow' and he could bring himself to deal with it only in the medium to which he had devoted his full creative powers - the play.

This is just a copy of the play - personally, I find O'Neill depressing, but that doesn't diminish his importance. A should-read.
