This novel is the first of a series called The Seeker Chronicles. The stories are based on the ancient Irish and Scotch folk ballads about the mythical seal people. The author has a engaging style of writing that is very sensual. She passionately tells a story about a young girls' first love and her journey to find herself. If you are a fan of books like THE RED TENT or THE MISTS OF AVALON, you will love this one too!
