I've been watching the DC scans on a book I sent a couple of weeks ago.  The package was sent from PA to OR.  The package made it to the main distribution center in Washington state - and then turned around and came back to Philadelphia.  It was scanned three or four times in Philly, and I was expecting it to come back to me as undeliverable or something like that.

Then I checked this morning, and it's back at the Washington post office!  So it's criss-crossed the country three times now.  Hopefully it will finally make it to the very patient person who ordered it...

An update - it was finally delivered today, in Oregon. All's well that ends well!

I had a book once, that was being mailed to IN from FL, get sent to CA where it sat for over a week.  Now that was going the long way around!

It took more than 2 weeks for a book to arrive here in Ohio from a neighboring state, but books I sent to Alaska from Ohio took less than 2 days.  Kewl!
