This is one of my favorite P&P variations. The story moves quickly, and although Darcy and Elizabeth find each other quicker than in the original, there are plenty of obstacles put in their way. Their love is intense and romantic, yet there are no sex scenes to avoid.

This book was so very enjoyable. I have to say it's one of my absolute favorite P&P variations. The wit and character of Mr. Bennet is so much fun. He is the dad that disciplines. How Mr. Bennet comes to be at Longbourn, his relationship with Mr. Collins is touched on, little side issues about Mrs. Bennet as a young woman, lady Catherine's unexpected marriage to Sir Lewis, are all explored. Mr. Darcy's unexpected confidant while he and the Col. are visiting Mr. Bingley is great fun. Caroline pushes one button too many, as does Lady Catherine. It has romance but no sex scenes. A great read.
