A kid-sized novel from the A Beka Christian series, intended for use in the 2nd Grade (or equivalent reading level!). A great story about REAL self-worth.

Main character is Sammy, who when the book opens feels he is a "nobody." Sammy comes up with a plan to dazzle the kids in his class during a pet contest, but he has no pet. Read about Sammy and his surprise pet, Slowpoke. By the end, between Slowpoke and God, Sammy no longer feels like a nobody.
