I am looking for two books by Tolkien, and if possible I would order them from the same person to save shipping.  How can I find who has a certain book listed so I can look at the rest of their books?

                 Thanks for your help,

                                               Megan

You cannot do that until you have actually ordered the book. The site works on a FIFO method, it wan't to send us the next book in line, not let us pick a shelf to order from.  The only way to find books on certain shelves is use the Box of Books and check the shelves of boxers for the books. Otherwise you'd have to order one first, and then check their shelf for the other.

Try an "In search of" thread in the book bazaar. You might find someone who has them both and they can direct you to their shelf to order them.

Melanie's right. What I've done in the past is to order a book and then browse the shelf of the member. If other books in the series aren't available from that person, I'll cancel the order before completion and look up another book in the series and if that person has multiples I'll place the order. But the one time I placed an order that way, the order timed out, and it went to two different people anyway.

Melanie's suggestion might be your best bet on that point. Try the bazaar.

Oh, another option might be to browse the bookshelves of some of the members who are active in the genre forum of the books you're looking for. If they're in a pretty popular and common series, you might get lucky.

Even if you are not a boxer, you can do a search for Tolkien on the boxer page to see if anyone has more than 1.  That way you could order from their shelf.

You could also put a post in the Book Bazaar forum saying which books you are looking for.  I have had great success with that.
