i've been starting to read more scifi type of stuff. I'm still kind of new to the genre and was wondering if maybe someone could throw a 2 for 1 deal my way? or help me with some good authors and/or titles. Thanks.

Check out Terry Goodkind's The Sword of Truth series. Wizard's First Rule is the first one in the series. We loved it. My brother is also a big fan of Tad Williams, says he's awesome. :)

Try the oldies but goodies - the books are in the system, no waiting for the wish list and they don't come any better!  If there are authors you've already read that you liked, check out fantasticfiction.com.  It lists all books written by an author, by series.

Robert Heinlein -  Glory Road, Farnham's Freehold, The Door Into Summer

Isaac Asimov -  I, Robot, Caves of Steel, any of his short story collections

Andre Norton - The Time Traders, The Beast Master, Catseye

Orson Scott Card - Ender's Game, Speaker for the Dead

Anne McCaffrey - Dragonflight, Dragonquest, Freedom's Landing

Robert Silverberg - Lord Valentine's Castle

Poul Anderson - We Claim These Stars, Earthman, Go Home

I have a very eclectic mix of Science Fiction. I'll do a 2 for 1 or 5 for 2 on my entire shelf.

Let us not forget Piers Anthony and James Blish.

I have:

"Friday" and "Glory Road" by Robert Heinlein

"Fallen Star" and "Quincunx of Time" by James Blish

"Fantasy" by Poul Anderson

PM me for a 2-for-1 deal. I know I also have many other science fiction books, just can't seem to search my own bookshelf by genre.
