I have a friend that would like 2 Karen Rose paperbacks, You Can't Hide and I'm Watching You.  It seems I've become the source of books for many of my friends and relatives, (not that there's anything wrong with that, as I love books and have more than enough to share, probably with a large metropolitan area) but since they're not for me I'd like them to be decent copies.  They do not have to be new or giftable, she knows they're used, which is fine, but I'd prefer not to give her an ex-library book or books that are on their last reading or have stains, tears, loose pages, a broken binding or excessive cover creases.  It seems I've been getting a lot of books lately that are very borderline or even not postable and judging from some of the other posts I've seen I'm not the only one.  I think most of the members that read and/or post here are more aware of the posting conditions so I thought I'd try here first.  If no one here has them I will just request them through the system and pm the person and ask about the condition but if someone reading the boards has them I'd just as soon the credits go to them.  Regular spine creases and some edgeware or a name or store stamp inside are fine.  No deal is required (though if you have one going on I'd be happy to check your shelf) and I don't mind ordering from 2 different people if no one has both.

I'll give it one more try before I order them from the system.
