Can you recommend any? I finished Kristan Higgins latest, All I Ever Wanted, and am at a loss as to what to read next because it was SOOO GOOD and I know whatever I choose next cannot compare! I am looking for other authors that are similar - any suggestions are welcome!

A newer contemporary author is Louisa Edwards. I really like her two books that have come out and they are somewhat similar to Kristan Higgins' style...

I have heard that Rachel Gibson is similar, though I've only read one of hers and it was just ok for me.

I really l ike Kristan Higgins as well, and here are some of my other favorites: Susan Mallery, Victoria Dahl, Toni Blake, Louisa Edwards

Isn't Kristan Higgins great? I just love her books. I have her latest and am waiting to read it - I know that it'll be a while before she has another book coming out.

It's hard to pick another author just like her. The ones listed above are good but I don't think any of them use the first person like she does though.

Other authors that I like are Christie Ridgway, Toni Blake, Victoria Dahl, and Julie James. I like the early Susan Donovan - haven't been as crazy about her latest books. Susan E. Phillips is good (the humor is good in her books) and early Jennifer Crusie is good. I like Louisa Edwards, though she's not a keeper for me.

I'd second Rachel Gibson, Susan Mallery, and Susan Andersen, and I'd add Ines Saint (though I think she only has one book) and Carly Phillips. I really like Victoria Dahl and Jennifer Crusie, but I don't think they have the "heartwarming" thing going on as much as the others, though they have the humor.
