I have several books that require balance control. I can't play them on my portable player. Does anyone know where I can purchase a book cassette adapter or have any ideas on how to convert these. I have looked everywhere for one but everyone seems to be selling those to convert cd to tape or etc. Please help me...
You can purchase one from here (as well as more of the Brilliance Audio Books and others. They have it listed as an ISBN number.
Bookcassette Adapter -
Our Price: $4.95
In Stock: This item normally ships the next business day.The Bookcassette Adapter is needed if you will be listening to a Bookcassette audiobook with headphones (or earbuds, etc.) A stereo tapeplayer is still required. The Bookcassette Adapter gives you balance control on your headphones and is easy to use—plug it into the stereo headphone jack of your personal tapeplayer, and then plug your headphones into the other side.
PS - If you have a MAJOR Bookstore in your area you might try them to see if they have one - give them the ISBN above - they might could order one for you and save you a Shipping & Handeling charge - I tried PBS's Amazon link and searched by the ISBN but did not find one...
- PM sent as well.

oh Danny, bless you so much, I had been to that site and it said it didn't carry them anymore. So I took the chance and went back and put in that isbn code. it took me right to it. I am ordering 2 just incase because I have so many of those tapes. If you were close enough I would kiss you.... Again, I thank you so very much. olieann
