Hi,

A friend of mine who loves Danielle Steele is looking for other similar romances.  She read Danielle Steele's latest one and was upset by the use of bad words.  I am looking for any recommendations for contemporary romances that have no bad words.

Thanks for your help.

if memory serves and unless things have changed drastically-most of the category romances-harlequin, silhoutte, etc are  fairly clean in terms of language and bedroom-ish stuff.  there might be a "da*n" in there but not usually more than that.

You might try the Harlequin Love Inspired line.

Debbie Macomber, Curtiss Ann Matlock and Dorothy Garlock come to mind for me. If she is looking for series books, i agree with Sherri, the Love Inspired line has sweet romances but with a Christian tone to them if that is what she is interested in?
