Looking for (And hopefully a deal from someone that has any on their shelf..:) ) `

The Vampire Lestat,

The Queen of the Damned,

and

The Tale of the Body Thief

I have heard that the series goes downhill after the 4th one.  Is this true?

Hi, Maria, I have "The Vampire Lestat" on my bookshelf and I am offering a 3/1 deal.  If you are interested; order "The Vampire Lestat" and pick out two freebies and pm with your choices.  I will then send you all three.  Thanks for looking.  Jack

Hi Maria, I have one too...

The Tale of the Body Thief (Vampire Chronicles, Bk 4)
Author: Anne Rice
ISBN-13: 9780345384751 - ISBN-10: 034538475X

And my shelf is 2-for-1 or 5-for-2 should you be interested. I also have Interview with the Vampire, which I assume you have.

The series went down hill ....

1) Interview with the Vampire -- I like this one since it covers a lot and is so interesting

2) The Vampire Lestat -- Lestat's story, interesting... but gets contemporary fast

3) Queen of the Damned -- I didn't enjoy "rock star" Lestat but the plot twisting is interesting

4) Tale of the Body Thief -- Last book with Louis and ties off some ends, it's ok

5) Memnoch the Devil -- Best book in the set! Although I apparently didn't "get" the religious connotations supposedly alluded to per the last book

6) The Vampire Armand -- Set in Ancient time, Armand's story. I liked it and him

7) Merrick -- More about the witch Merrick and features David, vampire from Body Thief

8) Blood and Gold -- Takes place in Ancient times, about Marius and some Armand, if you like the Ancient setting it's ok

9) Blackwood Farm -- Not much Lestat in this, about a guy looking for him, in the Mayfair Witches "area"

10) Blood Canticle -- DON'T READ! Ugh! Anne Rice has Lestat repentant and decided to pursue sainthood, since she found religion again.
