I was at a shop the other day in another state and saw a cookbook that had...it's so hard to accuratly describe it which is why I am probably not able to correctly google it...anyway. For example, there was a recipe that was a twinkie or something, with yellow frosting on it, with yellow and occasional white jelly beans and then a slightly melted yellow starburst on top to make it look like corn on the cob. There was also a sugar cookie type of pizza that actually looked like spaghetti with meatballs. I have found a couple recipes online...but I was really hoping to find the cookbook itself. Of course, any search for "fake food" comes up with tons of plastic food items. The best I could find was an April Fools Day type website with a couple recipes...I really wish I had gotten the book. Anyone know what book it was or have any ideas for a better google search? |

Hi Erika, Not sure if this is what you're looking for... http://www.amazon.com/Fake-Out-Foods-Friends-Cookbook/dp/B0041UFML2 From what you were describing, this sounded similar. |

Try these two:
I have both of them and there are variations of everything you described in them.
