Hello everyone!

My husband and I have a new library that I'm looking to fill! As a kid, my husband loved the Hardy Boys, but unfornately a fire during his childhood destroyed most of his books. I would love to surprise him with a row of the original Hardy Boys books as a special treat, and I'm hoping some of you can help me!

I'm specifically looking for the hardcover blue spine editions in good condition from a smoke-free home. If anyone is or would be willing to do special deals if you have multiple books from the collection, I would be ever so grateful. PM me if you are interested in helping me out with this little project! Thank you in advance!

Jen...

I have four hardcover Hardy Boys books on my shelf--books 1 through 4.  My copy of book one is the shiny newer release of the hardcover (which means the picture on the front is the same, and it's the same size, but the title on the spine looks different).  My book one looks brand new.

My copies of books 2 through 4 are the original blue hardcovers, though.  These books all have a name written inside the cover (from the original owner), and--of course since they're older--the covers have a little wear from where they rubbed against another book on the shelf.  There are no other marks on the books, and the spines are in good condition.

I do have a deal running right now.  (It's in my signature.)

I hope you can find a whole bunch!  That will be a neat gift.  (Do you watch the Canadian sitcom "Corner Gas?"  There is an episode where police officer Davis has to rescue his own collection of Hardy Boys books....)  :)

Happy hunting!
