I"m trying to find a romance book that I read years ago. I remember I read it in eitehr 1988 or 1989. It wasn't a Harlequin book. I don't think it was a Zebra romance book caues I remember those books has a heart in the upper right corner and this one didn't. It could have been a Love Spell book. I don't remember any other publishers from around that time.

I don't remember much about the book but I do remember 1 thing about it. The couple in the book ended up getting marred and this was mid way though the book. I remember thinking it was nice that they were cuase most of the time they didn't in books like this and they both wanted to. (the book was set in either the Carolina's the South)

I do remember the cover. It's your standard 2 lovers holding each other cover. They are on a horse (i think) it's white...she's in front of him and they are both looking out at the reader not at each other....he had on a white shirt and had long black hair. (I think her hair was black too). There was a white house/estate beind them. and there may have been white flowers around them/the horse, at the bottom of the page.

I know it's not much to go on but, I gave this book away years ago and I wish I still had it. Can anyone help me?

The spine of the book was a light purple and there was a circle on the spine with the couples picture (may have only been him) in it.

The light purple spine says Silhouette Romance to me.  Pretty sure that was the design of them back then.  Oh, and Silhoutte Special Editions had purple on the spine as well.

Sarah. Thanks for the info. I just has a look at some of the Silhouette Romance covers and it wasn't one of those books. It was more like a Zebra Romance book where the picture too up the whole cover.

Had a new thought.  How about a Loveswept?  They did all sorts of colors at that time on their books.

was this a historical? native american or cowboy? Zebra had a TON of this theme - I think every single cover had long hair, a horse, or a pirate!

Hmm, maybe not a Loveswept.  Lots of purple covers those 2 years but nothing with a horse on it.
