Hi all! I am looking for some Historical Fiction Books. I have read all of Philippa Gregory's novels and most of Margaret George's, so i'm looking for some new authors that I may have not heard of. I have read one of Jane Feathers but i've looked at the summaries of her others out and don't think i'd like them. If you have any about King Henry the 8th's time, Queen Elizabeth the 1, or Queen Mary's time (doesn't have to be about them directly), please PM me so I can look at your book list. Thanks so much!!! Let me take a look at what I have in my shelf and in my TBR pile as that is one of my favorite era's and I like to get books from then.  I'll let you know if I find any but you could take a look at my shelf and ask if you want any further info on a book.  I would bet I have some on my pile to read but don't mind if they go to a good home and someone who likes that time!

I recommend Gallow's Theif by Bernard Cornwell, I loved that one. He's an extremely prolific writer of historical fiction - and I have that one on my shelf. If you're looking for Historical Romance on the other hand, Susan Johnson's stuff is extremely well researched with wonderful footnotes in the back - and also the dirtiest stuff around, LOL! My other favorites in the historical romance category are: Julie Long, Mary Balogh, Johanna Lindsey, Elizabeth Boyle, Christina Dodd, Judith McNaught... Amanda Quick entwines her historical romances with mysteries too. I recommend all, this is a favorite genre of mine too. I have several on my shelf. Put yourself on the waiting list for Julie Long, she's wonderful. Kiss Orli for me. ;) Catalina
