i am looking for islamic books-about almost anything really
specifically, i want a very detailed biography of the prophet muhammed(pbuh), his followers and companions
any other thingg/suggestion will be appreciated. thanks.

In every text or book about "the world's great religions" there will be an extensive section on Islam.   The book by Huston Smith is widely available.  Years ago, Life Magazine published a big, gorgeous book about the world's religions with copious photographs and artists' drawings.  A library in a major city of the U.S. might hold a copy of this tome as a reference book.
