Not long ago I read the discription of a plot for a book and now of course can't remember the name or who wrote it,

A man goes to prison to visit his estranged father who gives him all the paperwork and the numbers for an off shore account so the man can start up the security business that his father tanked.

I'd love to hear from anyone who this rings bells for.

I'm pretty sure I read this book. Can you remember more of the story?

Sounds like the first "Private" book by James Patterson. I listened to it not too long ago.
