Any you could suggest would be great. I like paranormal romance and my Mom likes historical (cowboy) romances.

I like: Karen Marie Moning, Gena Showalter, Michelle Bardsley, & Sherrilyn Kenyon. The females gotta make me laugh.

Mom likes: Cherry Adair and romances that take place in Texas. (She goes through so many authors I can't keep track of all of them) She really likes the frontier times, time period. But she also likes the same authors I listed above for myself.
Mom has ALOT of free time and she goes through authors pretty fast. Which makes it harder for her to find books.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

i'm a big fan of paranormal romance too.  i suggest taking a look at the two 'sticky' posts (in red) in the Paranormal forum - one is for lists of series, and one is upcoming books, but that gives you a pretty big list of stuff to look at.

i need some sleep, but off the top of my head ones that make me laugh are Katie MacAlister's Aisling Gray series, and Kimberley Raye's Dead End Dating series.  J.R. Ward is good for hunky males, but her heroines are not the best.

MaryJanice Davidson has a couple fun, paranormal romance series that I really like. I also like the couple by Erin McCarthy; My Immortal, & Fallen along with the couple from the Vegas Vampire series that  I've read by her. Kathy Love has a series, but I haven't read any of them yet.

Lara Adrian has a good paranormal series.  You might also check out Deborah Cooke - she's just started a new series about dragons.  Alyssa Day writes some good paranormals.

For historicals - Julie Garwood has a trilogy set in Texas. Teresa Bodwell, Linda Lael Miller, Cindy Holby, Victoria Bylin, Kate Bridges - those are some lesser "famous" but good authors I've read.

Jodi Thomas is a great author in the Western/cowboy romance genre(historical).

As far as westerns go, I'd recommend Carolyn Davidson
