Can someone help me??  I think there is a female author currently writing a vampire series for adults, not kids.  She was mentioned on "Good Morning America" or "Today" or one of those shows recently.  It's NOT Ann Rice.  I know that's not much information, but does anyone know who I'm trying to think of?  Thanks for any help!

Beth

The only one I can think of that would be making the talk show circuit right now would be Stephenie Meyer.  Her new book, Breaking Dawn, was just released and is the 4th/last in a four book series . She is, however, considered a young adult author even though many, many of us bonafide adults (lol)  read this series too. HTH.

YES!!  That's her!  Thank you so much.  This series has been highly recommended to me by an adult reader that has a lot of the same favorites as mine, so I thought I'd try one.  But I don't see anything here on PBS -- bummer!  I'll keep looking.  Thanks again!

I broke down and bought them because the wishlist for them here is SO long! Try Wal-Mart. The have most of them there and the paperbacks (Twilight and New Moon) are only 7.84 so you save a little. Also Costco .... I think mine has Breaking Dawn now in hardback and it's at a pretty good price. But start at Twilight and read them in order. I know a lot of people reading them - they're great!!

Jane - that's an old link from 2007. She's on her 4th book now. Still, I enjoyed reading it! :)
