OK, this is a longshot. I have no idea of titles, but I'm looking to see if anyone has books on CD that are "seafaring" stories, like Horatio Hornblower, etc. My parents are driving cross-country and thought that'd be good for them. I just have no idea what to look for! Some good stories, interesting subject matter etc. I'm not expecting a huge response, but I'll be excited to see!

I have Patrick O'Brien's Reverse of the Medal - don't know if that is appealing.  I believe it is even still in its plastic.  Bought it for my father and turns out I already gave him that one.
