Hello,

Right now I'm reading in snatches and have found that I'm enjoying what I would call short stories.  The books that have three or four stories in them?

I've read a few about wolf/human's in the past but for the life of me can't remember any of the authors.  Can you recommend any?  I'm not sure what genre this would fall under?

I typically read harlequin type stuff because I'm a fast reader and can finish a harlequin type book in under 2 hours.

I've searched for some erotica type stories but find them too long for me right now (work/homeschool/mom sick and needing care, etc.) with everything going on and have not come across any short stories - but at night when I crawl into bed I just NEED to be able to be braindead for an hour or and READ something really good, hopefully hot, but short.

I'm open to recommendations.  I love "beauty and the beast" type stories also.

Thanks,

Melissa

paranormal probably but a lot of us read this genre esp paranormal romance that you'll probably get some responses..for even more though cross-post in the paranormal forum

Wolf Tales are pretty long but they alternate with another book Sexy Beast I think is the title and they pretty much go wolf tales I, sexy beast I..anyways the Sexy Beast has a shorter story by her (Kate Douglas I think is the author) and either one or two more authors. they may build on each other and these are erotic romance and I haven't made ti through the 1st book though I may if Ican find it again - it wasn't like the wolf in this particula one was either wolf or man..as a man he still had the um knot, etc during sex..that's kinda what got to me...

rhyannon byrd  has a pretty good trilogy - at least I liked it!- not sure of the order but they're from silhouette nocturne and are last wolf standing, last wolf watching, and last wolf..hmm forgot this one LOL but it's Last wolf____ they came out consecutive months I think a year ago. thought she would add more the beginning of this year but didnt' notice them and just recently wondered about it. they were good though I did want a couple more to get their story.

Check some of the smaller publishers like Wild Rose Press, Samhain Publishing, etc.  Sometimes they have smaller ebooks or print books.

Thanks everyone, for the insight!

Now that I know the genre is paranormal, it helps a lot!

I looked up the Sexy Beast series...that sounds just perfect...and there are enough of them to keep me busy for awhile.  I plan to look them up on Amazon today.  I don't normaly buy...but I need something now.

I also looked up the rhyannan byrd books and two of them are now available and one is now on my wish list.  Thanks again.

Melissa

I would try MaryJanice Davidson.  She has some short stories with wolves in them.  I would also try Ellora's Cave and New Concepts Publishing.  They might have small ebooks and shorter stories for you.
