I'm looking for a book I read about 15 years ago, of course I don't know the author or the title. I was a new reader and just picked up any book that looked good.

It was about this young couple who was engaged when she had a bad car accident, which left her face badly scared. He could not deal with the scare so he broke the engagement. She was so hurt that she quit her job and answered a add in the paper for a house keeper, cook for a  bachelor who owned a ranch, as most ranchers, this one had a very mean bull. So on and so forth, wish I knew the name of this book.

If any one has any ideas  on this book , please let me know.

It's got to be:  Always a Lady by Sharon Sala.  One of my favorite early Sala books.
