This is a collection of all the Lord Peter Wimsey short stories by Dorothy L. Sayers. There are a total of 20 stories. Introduction by James Sandoe. Also includes an essay ("Sayers, Lord Peter and God")by Carolyn Heilbrun and a parody ("Greedy Night")by E.C. Bentley. A fun collection!

This is the complete Lord Peter Wimsey stories: all twelve from Lord Peter Views the Body, the three from Striding Folly, four from Hangman's Holiday, and two from In the Teeth of the Evidence. The best of these come from the first dozen, but all are entertaining as she buffoons British manners and solves the most baffling perplexities (not all are murders). Step aside Agatha, Ellery, and Erle, Ms Sayers is truly the reigning queen of mystery.
This is an excellent welcome to Lord Peter and his exploits. Lord Peter is a necessary read for every mystery lover out there. From here you'll want to buy all the Lord Peter books you can find. This book is a treasure of short stories.
You can't go wrong with Lord Peter mysteries! This anthology is perfect for when you want to solve a mystery in a short amount of time. :)
