"Keefauver writes to women from a male perspective for the purpose of imparting understanding - not condemnation nor criticism - of how husbands think about God and spiritual matters."
This was a different kind of book from the usual help books for women about their men. It was written from the male prespective to help women understand, not condemn or cristize their husbands in the areas of how husbands think about God and spiritual matters.
The way he writes makes it easy for a woman to hear from a man when her problem is her man! No gimmicks or wild promises, just the truth. You dont' feel on the defense and can easly accept what he says. It also tells how to apply this to your marriage. There is humor that takes the edge off your frustration and see that you desire to pray with your husband is a good thing.
It comes natural for us women to want our husbands to pray with us but when they don't we can't understand why and the relationship in this area can become a tug of war maybe even a battle. This book helps you see the truth of the matter, handle the emotions involved and give spiritual solutions in dealing with it.
