I bought this book because I am a fan of Virginia Henley but I was disappointed in her story. I guess it was because the H/H were so young, she is only 16 and he is 21 and they were married years earlier to pay off a gambling debt. Maggie Robinson and Kate Pearce were new authors for me and I enjoyed Kate Pearce's story the most. The Hero is a renowned rake and the lady he married expected a torrid lover and instead got a quick once a week visit from her husband, no passion involved. He is insulted when she complains about his performance as a lover. I won't spoil the fun but he sets out to prove her wrong. I also enjoyed the Maggie Robinson story.
