A very juvenile read. The character came was in her early twenties but spoke like an old woman. For a lack of a better word it was really "hokey" I finished it only because I kept hoping it would get better.
I thought this was a great book telling the story of a women going through a big transformation.
About a single girls quest to loose weight and also deals with her relationship with her mother and an elderly neighbor.
I so related with this character - very good book.

A good book
I actually almost stopped reading this book. The main character came across as very juvenile to me at first, but I continued reading since I have never given up on a book before. Overall I ended up liking it and the last half is definitely better than the first.
I couldn't finish this one. The plot was good but the character was not likable and therefore I didn't care about her.
I liked this book, i picked this book at a second hand store and it was a surprise, romantic and funny book.
