As an adopted child (now an adult) myself I am in love with this and all of Betty Lifton's books. Betty understands the joys and the sorrows, the triumphs and the problems with adopted from the child, birth parents and adoptive parents. If you are adopted, have or are thinking about adoption or ever gave a child up, this is a must read.
