I absolutely loved this novel. Having been part of raising two sisters during their teenage years and my own daughter, I could relate to Quinn on that level. I'm on the fence about the parents. I'm not sure I agree with the decisions they made. The romance was good but I was happy that it wasn't the only main event.

The storyline had great characters that were believable and likable. The conflict within the lead character was understandable based on her past. The one negative was the language that was unnecessarily rough when it didn't have to be.

Quinn's life is great - a job as sous chef at a major LA restaurant, condo, nice car, a friend w/benefits until her sister is killed in a car crash. Two years later and outwardly nothing has changed, but Quinn doesn't "feel" anything. Then a surprise stranger in a coffee shop sends her life reeling and everything she thought she knew has changed. Good chick lit!
