What can you say about the horrific events in this book. I read reviews on Amazon and I thought they mostly were reviewing the fact of Rother writing this story.

I didn't especially care for the way it is written as I think she put just too much in it about the families that could've been cut down and made the book shorter and a little easier to read.

However, everyone would feel the same, that it was a horrible ordeal for those families of those girls and no one should even try to excuse Gardner in any way.

I only give it 2 1/2 stars just because it is overly long with just too much descriptions that weren't necessary.

Amazing book! Highly recommend. A well-researched and written account of the Amber DuBois and Chelsea King cases without the gruesome details of the actual murders. The author provides insight into the crimes from her interviews with the condemned killer.
