This is the first book I have read that was written by Tom Knox. His style is very similar to James Rollins. Both authors have action packed content, international settings, and constant cliff hangers at the end of most chapters. This book in particular has a great concept linking two different cultures of the world via ancient surgical practice. How this relates to the current setting with the characters was unique and left me pondering the concept after I finished the book. Finally, the twists in the plots were fairly decent. Some of them were typical action plot tricks (main character is in bad situation, how will he/she get out sorta of thing). But the main one in the end (no spoilers here), left me fairly astonished. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to any adventurous readers who want to read something new.
