My sister has an incredible amount of stamina for shopping. I mean, literally, just HOURS without a stop or a rest. If you go with her, take a book and a lunch and look for benches.
Which is what I did - at least the last part. We were in big lots, and I just went and made myself comfortable on the displays near the front (where I couldn't miss her checking out) of patio furniture. very comfy.
There was a table of clearance books there, and I selected one and started reading. I didn't buy it because, while living in her basement, I am trying to avoid buying hardbacks, which my book trader will not accept. I simply don't have the shelf space to keep books after I read them, living here.
Now I want to finish the book!! It was about a little boy whose parents moved him to Paris. On his Birthday, he looks at his reflection in the raining, night dark window while still wearing his birthday crown - which causes the people who live in the mirror to mistake him for their foretold prince, and reveal themselves, and drag him into their fascinating world.
