A rather interesting book. Here we have the story of a man who became a police officer and his short career. Once he was accepted for the Academy, he felt a part of something bigger, a family and he felt proud to be an NYPD officer. Everything was going well until that fateful day IAB went looking for him at home. Talk about hell and what avenues a person has to fight what they perceive as an injustice. The tale goes back and forth from the present to his days spent as an active cop. He has a tough choice to make.

I could sympathize a little with his cause but the real reason for it all was hard to believe. (I do not want to give away too much.) He never should have allowed IAB to talk to him without his Union Rep for one thing. Yet I am not sure if that would have made any difference here. But in life strange things do happen and you could just be that one in a million.
