This has been such a good series. This seventh installment takes place months after Helen's ordeal after returning to lead her team. She is burdened with mistrust and a sense of betrayal but has to come to terms with everything when a violent killing spree requires swift action. The violence takes place over the course of one day but is devastating and costly to all of them. I couldn't put it down. Another fast paced page turner and I look forward to more.
The Helen Grace books are some of my favorites. You know a book is good when you read it in two days. Mr. Arlidge writes so honestly, so truthfully, you feel as if you are right there. He makes Helen Grace a person you want to know.
