A fantastic book; (sub-genre: bad boy)1995 release, timeless story.
Poor boy blamed for murder, has been in love with the preachers daughter all of his life. He comes home educated, but still under the cloud of suspicion; looking to set thing straight and claim the woman he has never forgotten. Another murder puts him back in the spotlight, but Grace gets her backbone and stands up for her hero.
Great finish, surprise killer; and you are left wanting to know the rest of the story on the sister and the sheriff.
I sorta hate to put this one back on the shelf,but it is too good not to share, and I know it is on the wish list. Enjoy!

It was a wonderful read...very similar in lots of ways to Sharon Sala's Jackson Rule...

This book is a very good mystery & love story combined. It keeps you reading right up to the very end of the last page of the book. The characters in the book seem to be real people as you read, you care about their lives and their problems.
