A fast, easy domestic thriller that seemed somewhat predictable until halfway through when the plot twists turned surprising. For me, there was one plot twist too many, so that when finishing I didn't have that soft sigh of satisfaction when things get wrapped up in an believable and emotionally fulfilling way.

It's set in England, and the main characters are a marine biologist and an obituary writer who together have a young daughter.
