How hard is it to break through all your mess and really love someone. This book shows you how to take those baby steps to love not only another person, butyourself also in your mess
I found this to be an OK story. It did not meet my expectation yet it was still a good read. I did not know going into it that it was Christain Lit -- not sure how I missed this fact ahead of time. I was expecting a black woman perspective story yet, other than some dialog, this character could have been any race -- complements to the author for walking that fine line and the ability to make the story relatable to those not in the ethnic/racial group. There were a few turns in the book that were more abrupt then I prefer . . . rushed the story to the next point -- not smooth transitions. Bottomline: if you aren't use to Christain Lit then this story will be heavily 'preachy'.
